Description

*Edit: I clicked the Request Critiques button, for the first time. I had actually forgotten it was there ^^; I also clicked the button for critique on Twelve O' Clock, if anybody would be willing and interested in taking the time to critique.

I'm not sure about putting these two images together, but those pics alone seemed boring, especially since I already uploaded two similar pics.

I also would have liked if more pages were turned by the wind, like with my previous book/forest pic..

Anyway, feedback is very welcome!

I'll try to help. We have open book, writing feather and jar of ink placed outside on the ground along a path.

1) Vision. Great concept a book outside along the path.

2) Originality: Good. Could be better by going with traditional view. Put the feather in the ink. Drop the second bottom photo, which looks like a sloppy after thought.

3) Technique: Lighting is fine. Contrast colors of browns, with grounds, path and ink. Good. But drop the second photo. Put feather in the ink and put them next to the book. I suggest staying with the right side, to balance against the trees on the left in the background. You might also center the book into the path opening in the background, giving you two openings into another world effect.

4) Impact: Pretty good. Maybe experiment with book, feather in ink all being a little closer to the viewer, closer to the camera.

Hope this helps. Critiques are only opinions. Take what you want and discard the rest.
