Overall Vision
Originality Technique ImpactLove the colors and the path. This says desire and mystery. Where do I go? What is around the corner? What is their to discover over there? The green base and the light at the top draw my eyes up and inward towards the ending of the path. The tall tree on the left seem to create a contrast with the bush and the open area to the right. The mist across the top that obscures direct observation with the sun. Speaks to me of our lives that are shrouded in mystery without a direct line of sight to a guiding light but we always have a path in front of us to choose from. I love the composition and the way it draws me in. I am not sure I like the little branch on the left side of the picture 1/2 way up. It could be an interesting aspect of the artwork. However, it distracts me from it as well. I do not know if I like it or not.
