Photography-wise yesterday might have been the best day of my life.

Don't get me wrong, I love lighrays forcing their way through the fog; but I love thick mist without any sun even more. It makes time stand still. I love it.


I went to the forest Oud Groevenbeek, and then to country estate Oldenaller with *GaiusNefarious. This image is taken at Oldenaller.

This really isn't my best photo, I just took so many I don't know where to start. So this is just a starter.

My apologies for those who watch me for my sunlight-pics, but the next photo's I'll upload will be rather gloomy :)

Post-processing: Very minor, I just upped the contrast and lowered the saturation a bit (=made it a bit less colourful). The blue colours come from the whitebalance.


All of my photos are just to look at, not to be used (unless as a reference)! They're no stock.

I like the dusk, dark lighting. The distance, and i love swings. Nice shot!!

Its weird, the rope and seat swings take away from the natural beauty of this for me. It is just a personal love of nature without mans interference but I get exactly what you mean about this type of weather. It is a feeling I understand strongly
