I uploaded this image before, only with different editing (in the other one I just upped the saturation). I prefer this version
--- Post-processing: I upped the contrast and I upped the saturation just a wee bit.
My photos are NOT stock. This means I do not want them to be used in any way. I don't mind them being used as a reference for a drawing/painting though: please visit this link for the rules nelleke.deviantart.com/journal…
(No, this is not about Slenderman. Comments that contain nothing but a reference to this lovely chap will be hidden.)
There is so much I could say about this piece but I wont. It's amazing. I love the shadows within this piece. Tho I wish you would have taken the picture from a slightly different angle. It would have given the picture a little more depth. Good Job tho.
That is exactly my reaction. In comparison to similar shots in this gallery, this is the one where the eye is not invited to go "deeper". Instead, the fence rail provides a sudden barrier, and directs the eye to the left into "I wonder where it leads?"-land. In the her other landscapes she resolves the chord (to use a musical metaphor); but in this one she chose to leave the progression hanging. Interesting.
