A wild buzzard or hawk (opinions are divided on the subject), in the forest of Drie. Taken february 2010.

Post-proces: Minorr, I upped the contrast and saturation slightly.

I love the balance of this photograph--the light with the dark and the silhouette of the bird! Definitely one of my favorites!

I don't think it's a buzzard. It could be a small hawk, crow or even a raven. It is a bit hard to tell. But with the atmosphere and the season, it makes the model (bird) in your photo so mysterious. =D

It's not a crow or raven, they look very different. It's hard to distuingish between a buzzard and hawk though, because the tail isn't very visible in this pose and neither is the bird's size. I'm glad you liked the model though :) Thanks!
