Our words go beyond the moon
Our words go into the shadows
The river sings the endlessness
We write of our journey through night
We write in our aloneness
We want to know the shape of eternity

~Enya, The River Sings

Location: Leuvenum, the Netherlands.
Post-processing: I changed the colours, upped the highlights and lowered the lowlights (= made the light parts lighter and the dark parts darker), reduced the noise and darkened the edges.
Equipment: Nikon D90 with a 55-300 mm lens.

My photos are NOT stock. This means I do not want them to be used in any way. I don't mind them being used as a reference for a drawing/painting though: please visit this link for the rules [link]

Love the depth of field in your picture - now listening to a creek recording I made a few years ago (freesound.org/people/naturenut… while observing your picture - very peaceful combination....

A wonderful mood-filled shot. It's great that you put the viewer into the water. Too often the photographer puts us on the shore, and I think it would be far less powerful that way. Well done!
