Editting done: I lowered the gamma and upped the contrast a bit, and then lowered the saturation slightly. The rays are real :)

The blueness of the pic is because I had the the whitebalance on my camera on lamp-light.

A very solid artistic shot. Very good light here and the blue tones works very well.

I don't think the framing adds anything tho, especially when it's so little. Also the Name takes up too much focus. I'd suggest a lowered opacity on the name.

Nice work.

This piece is featured in my journal this week and can be found here, [link]

Have a nice day,

Thank you again for the feature! ^^

I agree with you about the name; without it would be best, but obviously I didn't put it there to make the picture look pretty. Every now and then when I get pissed about people stealing my pics I tend to make the name more clear and bigger. But I made the letters less bright in this pic now :) I personally like the border, and I think that's a matter of taste. The small blue outline in it is a bit distracting though, so I made the border all black.

Thanks for the input!

I get that it always comes down to a personal taste but at some level also in just ways to work with layouts and design. Don't kill me, I work as a graphic designer so I'm a bit fucked up to "business standards" 'n shit :D.

Anyways, it looks much better now, more subbtle. Great

Haha, I understand. I still prefer it with border myself though, even if that might not fit with the business standards ;) I like how it makes the pic look more enclosed, and more private than without a border.

Thanks! ^^
