We sat at the bottom of the stairs for about half an hour, so I tried to make use of every gap in between people In this photo the 'phantom' is a tourist, but I also have pictures with no people. I was quite proud ^^
This picture has a very special atmosphere - and the name you gave it suits its mystery well. It reminds me of the Phantom of the Opera, and I can't help but ask myself: is she the phantom, an apparition, a ghost of an old building, or is the phantom the one watching her, looking up to her light from the darkness below..?
nice shot! you've been so good to catch only one. phantom, I mean; you know, there is always someone who get lost in those labyrinthine museums. it's easy to come back from the dungeons in the ectoplasmic form..
I went there some years ago. If I remember rightly, the incline was so gentle that the steps were really long, like really annoyingly long that you couldn't get a proper walking gate going. Nonetheless, beautiful carvings and arhitecture.
