This makes me really sad...
Forests are so alive and completely independant of humans and then we go and cut down trees... nessessary alot of the time but still makes me very sad. It makes the forest no longer a place of quiet and solitude, the trees and all the little micro-oganisms that lived in the soil and trees all die and then there's no place left to escape away from human influence.
Having the log pile in the foreground on the bottom left works really well with the path leading away more to the right in terms of composistion though. The only real background we see is through that path and it's quite captivating. So great photo, even if I do find the scene sad.
