--- Post-processing: I upped the contrast, darkened the edges and reduced the noise.
My photos are NOT stock. This means I do not want them to be used in any way. I don't mind them being used as a reference for a drawing/painting though: please visit this link for the rules nelleke.deviantart.com/journal…
(No, this is not about Slenderman. Comments that contain nothing but a reference to this dear fellow will be hidden.)
Including the family as they walk into the horizon adds so much to the "storytelling" aspect of the photo - just like some of your deer-in-the-trail shots have an additional element of activity. Your serene disappearing path photos grab my interest with their invitation to explore and dance in the different warm or cold shades - but for me there is also loneliness in them.
I don't know why but I just started thinking about the three different generations walking and the overarching generation of age-old trees binding all together. Recalls memories with my grandfather - peace in the woods!
Very gorgeous view here. It's not too bright, not too dark. Just the perfect amount. I also like the family of three added in the middle. They fit right in. I'd definitely love to stroll through this beautiful woods one day with my future family. (:
