DA keeps making the full size version hazy, and then it doesn't, and then it does o.0
--- I uploaded a version of this with red moss on my site, and asked what you thought of it. As I expected the responses varied. The original red moss didn't go well with everybody: I do like the red moss myself. I was going for a fantasy atmosphere, and I chose it purposefully to give the image a macabre hint and most importantly a story. But I can see why some find it too 'violent' for their taste. For now I'm uploading a more neutral version here on dA
Have a wonderful start of the new year: A new start means anything can happen
---- My photos are NOT stock. This means I do not want them to be used in any way. I don't mind them being used as a reference for a drawing/painting though: please visit this link for the rules nelleke.deviantart.com/journal…
I agree this is better. I kind of liked the fierce red of the moss, but it definitely distracted you from the central point of the photo, which is the light. Most of your "Woods in the mist" photos do a really good job of drawing you into the light at the center, down the path or stream or track, creating a wonderful sense of depth.
