Taken the day before yesterday. *GaiusNefarious and I took pictures together, hence the similar photo's :)





Editting done: I upped the contrast a bit.

No further editting done: The bokeh and everything is real, and not added afterwards. There would be no fun in that.

The book: 'Godolphin and Falkland', written by Edward Lytton Bulwer. The book's from 1842.

The background is a reflecting gold thermo-blanket, the sunlight falling on it creats the bokeh :) The blanket also makes the book look goldish. Thank you very much! I'm glad you liked it :D

Hmm, the background seems a little *too* out of focus. I'm sure it was just the effects of the camera, but it ends up looking fake and edited on. Maybe you could find some way to fix that later so that it doesn't affect other pictures? Possibly? ^^
