--- Post-processing: I changed the colours, upped the contrast and reduced the noise.
Location: Country estate Oldenaller, the Netherlands.
My photos are NOT stock. This means I do not want them to be used in any way. I don't mind them being used as a reference for a drawing/painting though: please visit this link for the rules [link]
(No, this is not about Slenderman. Comments that contain nothing but a reference to this lovely chap will be hidden.)
Out of all these photos I missed while I was absent, this one might be my favourite. This is almost surreal... I feel like the world ends there, with behind the falling tree the whole scene turning into pure light that swallows both the sky and the lake (or is it a river?). Almost, I say, because there is one thing that appears real, and that is the water in the foreground, that continues to loose this realistic touch the more it draws to the distance.
Strange, usually I adore more your golden and warm colours (And there are a lot of awesome ones there!)
I love the way the shapes of the open spaces and the trees and figure interplay with the reflection--kind of a realist/abstract picture all at once.....
