I'm not good at photomanipulations, I both lack skill and patience. Hence the amateurish result (which is something I'm well aware of). But it was fun to do for once.. and this way I found a use for that picture after all. Plus I've got some more blue for my gallery.

I used two of my own photos (one portrait [link] and one landscape [link] They're not stock though.), the rest I drew in the Gimp.

You seem so incredibly critical of your own work, perhaps the sign of an artist who never quite believes in their own abilities, (I understand that) and yet your photo manipulation work is better than most, (including myself) I have seen here on DA and have been doing it for years!

This is beautiful work.

Beautiful photomanip. There is a real atmosphere to this image enhanced by the coloring, the softening effect and the expression. A lovely piece and certainly not amateurish :-)

I really love this one. Each of one of your photo's take me there. They have feeling to it.
I love your work with color. An i DO love your photoshop.
I saw your drawings a bit earlier. I noticed the same thing there: You have a great vision. Feeling for colors and emotion.
I'm so glad i found your page.
Art sometimes lifts my spirit when it gets to dark. Your art certainly brightens my day.
