Post-processing: I upped the contrast, reduced the noise and made the colours more purple. Nothing has been added or removed, the bokeh is real.

It's funny, I can see how the gesture would be sad, but to me the image seems happy, it has a sense of wonder to it.

Love the color. You don't typically do images with purple, at least that I can recall. There's definitely a sense of wonder to it all.
