EDIT: I editted her face, and I tried to make the dagger and splash blend in more with the background according to the critique I got from ~TikamiHasMoved. Still not great, but I do think this looks better than it did before
-- Title is an awesome song by Placebo.
I'm practising on drawing faster. This one took me a couple of days, which is quite fast since I usually need months
I used this absolutely gorgeous photo by ~fhrankee as a reference for the head's perspective: [link]
Don't like the way I drew the sinking dagger, I'll do it better next time.
Media: I used grey pencil for the sketch, and coloured pencil and a black ballpoint for the colouring.
It's really amazing! I so envy you and your skills, both in drawing and in photography! This piece reminds me a bit of John Bauers work, considering the colours and in which era this girl seems to be in.
I love your atmospheric photos but you also have a great talent for drawing and painting as well. This is beautiful - I love the colours and the overall compositon. I think a good artist can work in any media - it is just down to learning the tools and what you can do with them.
Ah, and I would like very much to read this story. Did you publish it? Can I buy it?
