Again, it's been a while since we had real fog, so I have to work with old material. That's also why I use more post-processing than usual. :boing:

---
Post-processing: I upped the highlights (that means the light parts get more light) and I lowered the lowlights (the dark parts get more dark) in Faststone, which causes the overall (kind of) shinyness, and I upped the contrast.

Location: Drie, the Netherlands.

My photos are NOT stock. This means I do not want them to be used in any way. I don't mind them being used as a reference for a drawing/painting though: please visit this link for the rules [link]

The lighting is beautiful and I feel that you have captured a real moment. That is hard to do, I would imagine. I feel as if there is an entire story here and something waiting to come out into the mists.
The work that you have done is beautiful and it almost seems as if it is alive right now and I can see the fog rolling. :D
Thank you for sharing your lovely work!

Oh no, that won't be necessary for a photo like this. I haven't even got Photoshop ;) I upped the high lights (=made the light colours more light) and lowered the low lights (=made the dark colours more dark) in a free program called FastStone. Besides that I just upped the contrast, you can do that in any program.

Stunning, as always. Exceptional lighting and the fog really brings out the mystery despite the sunshine. Truly wonderful capture.
