I have a weekness for this photo. It's not much of a 'picture', the kind you'd hang on a wall. But I love that I can so easilly imagine standing there when looking at this. Might very well just be me though ;)

Something gloomy cause I felt like it. Probably got to do with Halloween and all.

No, it doesn't look halloween to me - more like Christmas. You mist like the forest a whole lot, just like I do. And I love when it snows. I live in Los Angeles, California, USA, where it almost NEVER snows, but I'm leaving California for the snowy white north next fall, so I'll get to see a lot of this. :) Good job on the great capture of the snowy atmosphere.

It's very beautiful, but what I like the most about this is a sort of artificial sense of motion. The trees are all sorta tilted to the right, either because that's just how they hang or because you tilted them like that (which your comments state you didn't do). It makes them look like they're maybe in a storm so fierce it threatens --

It makes me think of the Neverending Story. That's what it is. :omg:

This part of the forest is a bit of a mess, trees bend in all directions :)

Haha love that movie! Bad special effects but great story. I'm afraid I never read the book though :)
